Beck is an enthusiastic and caring physiotherapist who is accredited through the Australian Physiotherapy Association (APA). She completed her Masters of Physiotherapy Studies at the University of Queensland in Brisbane and has a background in sport and exercise science, completing her Bachelor degree on the Sunshine Coast.Beck has clinical experience in neurological, ageing, balance, and musculoskeletal physiotherapyin the hospital, community, and private practice setting.
With an interest in musculoskeletal physiotherapy and chronic pain, Beck also has a love for sports and physical activity. She is passionate about improving quality of life for her patients and helping to achieve goals that are meaningful to them – this includes decreasing/eliminating pain, improving strength, balance, confidence, and function at home, work or on the sporting field.
With the understanding that mind, body, and spirit are closely connected,Beck believes strongly in a holistic approach to treatment. She incorporates a variety of evidence - based techniques into her practice including manual therapy, electrotherapy, massage, exercise prescription, taping, and education.While maintaining a hands-on approach, Beck also aims to equip patients with the tools to self-manage their condition, allowing them to live a full and healthy life.
After relocating to the Sunshine Coast six years ago, she has fallen in love with the area and intends on staying here. Beck is committed to helping improve the lives of those in the local and wider community, and is happy to discuss any issues or concerns that you may have. So come on in and meet her!
